January, which has gone on too long in my opinion, needs something to liven things up, to add a splash of colour and a bit of energy to the dog-end of winter. Lucky then that we can adopt the vibrant annual celebration of Chinese New Year to our own calendar. (In 2017 it falls on 28 January and marks the start of the Year of the Rooster).
At this time of year the Chinese choose dishes that are symbolic of prosperity, longevity and a fresh start. Something we can all relate to. Here’s some dishes that are bariatric-friendly that you can enjoy and feast upon today or this weekend. So tuck in!
