GUEST TIP: Does this ever happen to you? You’ll eat a nice satisfying dinner at 7pm, but lazing on the couch at 10pm watching TV, you’ll get an irresistible urge to nibble on a snack, turning your otherwise successful diet day into a munchtastrophie.
Here’s a simple trick that you can try starting today.
Within 15 minutes after finishing off your dinner, go brush your teeth and floss. You’ll find that a couple of hour later, your ability to withstand food temptations is much stronger. That’s because nobody wants to brush and floss twice in an evening!
Some people go even further and brush their teeth during the day when they get a craving. When the mouth feels fresh from toothpaste (or mouthwash), the taste of food is less appetizing.
