Celebrate A Tiny Regal Arrival!

July 22, 2013 Leave a Comment

Pam Lloyd PR Pink Lady Apple Recipes (16th January 2013)Congratulations to William and Catherine on the birth of their son THE PRINCE OF CAMBRIDGE.

Weighing in at 8lbs 6oz, I had genuinely hoped that the baby might have come a day later on my own birthday tomorrow, but it simply means the celebrations will start a day earlier than planned!

I shall raise a glass to the regal arrival and the delighted parents and enjoy a sip of a Pink Lady Appletini. It’s a gorgeous mix of pink lady apple juice, a splash of vodka (optional), and a squeeze of lemon juice, flavoured and coloured, if liked, with the addition of a couple of drops of grenadine.

PINK LADY APPLETINI:  Simply add a few cubes of ice to a cocktail or drink shaker and pour over 100 ml/1/2 cup pressed Pink Lady apple juice, 1/2-1 shot or measure of vodka (if used), 1 tbsp lemon juice and 2-3 drops grenadine. Shake to chill and mix. Pour into a glass and garnish with Pink Lady apple slices if liked.

About 100 calories per glass … but who is counting?
