So summer just about seems at an end in the UK and we had some pretty good times together didn’t we? At times it came on pretty strong but we weathered it (thanks to good hydration and a strong fan in the bedroom!).
We enjoyed some picnics and days out, bbq’s and long lazy suppers in the garden, a World Cup (where football nearly came home …) and for the main part ate well, exercised when it cooled a tad, and stayed focused.
But as the weather changes and we witness the struggle between a sunny and rainy outlook there’s just one last hurrah – a long weekend ahead (the last one until Christmas time). Let’s make it one to remember before any thoughts of ‘back to basics’ rear their heads.
We can’t bring the best weather to you but we can bring some great food ideas to consider … but there are many, many more in the archives and in the linked features below to check out. Whatever your choice have a good time!
