Bariatric Cookery Instagram

August 21, 2017 2 Comments

Those of you who follow me on Facebook and Twitter will have noticed recently that I have been posting regularly on Instagram. I am loving this new social media vehicle and it gives me a great opportunity to show you the kind of foods that I eat for breakfast, lunch, dinner and as a snack. There are also some pics showing food that I eat away from home, some celebrations and even some inspirational quotes that have helped me and just might spur you on too.

I don’t do a regular ‘food diary’ or ‘day in my pouch’ post because others already do it (and very well) and it’s well … very time consuming! However, whipping out my mobile to take a pic just before eating a meal is pretty easy and so I can do this without much fuss and fanfare. Many of the meals are made from recipes that appear on the website or are explained in detail so that you can replicate if you’re keen and others will just give you a good idea of portion size and proportions of meals if you need help in that direction.

Here are just a few postings from the last week or two …

It also gives me the chance to highlight a few spontaneous things that I can’t do in a hurry or scheduling doesn’t allow me the luxury of posting in the blog.

So why not join me? My handle is @bariatriccookery  Click here to join me and I will follow you in return if you so wish.

Jason I don’t know … I think you may have to look in your settings and choose whether to keep some private or public. Maybe someone else knows the answer? C x
