This month sees my 9 year ‘oppiversary’ of weight-loss surgery. It’s an old cliché, but I seriously don’t know where the time has gone – it seems to have flown by.

I am so grateful for the new life this surgery has given me on so many levels – not just with health but also the additional benefits like new friends, better fitness, an enhanced career, and the opportunity to reach out and help others.

I couldn’t let the occasion pass without some gesture, and as grand as it would be to wait until it’s 10 years, I have always been impatient!
