10 Mantras For WLS Success

September 7, 2017 Leave a Comment

My ‘after the holiday’ mail bag is groaning again with requests about how to get back on track or turn-around-the-regain. And as I have said once, and will say again and again, the only reliable and long-lasting way is to get back to and adhere to the WLS principles that we were all given at the outset, and to follow them as closely as possible. Once you go back to them, balance is restored, weight regain is gradually lost (but not miraculously – you have to be patient and work at it) and you need to be mindful of each and every mantra set out below.

I hold great store by the portion control 2nd one (which is why we have several products in our shop here to help) but each and every one here has impact one way or another. The 1st I see as making good food choices (with protein as a priority) and please, please, please watch the ‘slider’ foods and the inclination to graze!

I have printed this infographic off and we have it on the office wall, but I also have it on my refrigerator door – it may help you too as a visual reminder of what’s important. I would add to this the mantra to take your vitamins and supplements daily (and have your annual checks) but you do that don’t you?
