Love At First Sight Or A Slow Burn?
Some say love at first sight is a load of codswallop! We say it all depends on who (or what) you are looking at. Some move quickly while others prefer to take it slow and find their true love – and why not?
Here’s an any time of the day dish that doesn’t have a speed-dial, but will certainly set your own or loved-one’s heart aflutter. Prepare to fall-head-over-heels in love, quickly or slowly.

CHOCOLATE CHIA STRAWBERRY PUDDING
Ingredients
METRIC/US
250 ml/1 cup unsweetened nut milk (I used Alpro Unsweetened Almond Milk)
1 avocado, peeled and stoned
1 tbsp chia seeds
1 scoop (about 30 g/1 oz) low-fat and low-sugar chocolate protein powder (I used Chocolate from Protein Milkshake Bar)
about 100 g/1 cup sliced or chopped strawberries
Method
- Place the milk, avocado, most of the chia seeds, the protein powder and about half of the strawberries in a blender and puree until smooth.
- Divide between 2 serving dishes and chill to set.
- Decorate with the remaining chia seeds and strawberries to serve.
