There are so many ways to keep fit and get active without the price tag of a gym membership. Even by making little changes, such as going out for an evening stroll instead of just sitting and watching TV can really help to improve fitness and stamina.

Looking to kick it up a notch? Why not join a local sports team. This is a fantastic way of getting out, socialising and getting fit all rolled into one.

Not a team player? No problem! Parkrun UK is a fantastic organisation which hosts free, timed 5km runs all across the UK, so why not head over to their website to sign up and find your local event to start your fitness journey today.

Getting fit doesn’t have to be such a chore and sports are a fantastic way of improving your fitness without even realising it! So, pick up your racquet, slip on some walking or running shoes or put on your swimming cap and get inspired by sport this summer.
