Bariatric Cookery – USA

” A huge ‘stars and stripes’ welcome to all my American visitors”  from CAROL BOWEN BALL

You are most welcome at www.bariatriccookery.com and we hope you will benefit from the food, health and exercise advice posted here as well as enjoy the delicious recipes to be found on the site.

Whether you are pre or post bariatric surgery there will be something for you.

All my most recent books, leaflets, recipes and postings take into account the differences between the US and UK market when it comes to ingredients and food quantities, and have both Metric and US quantities listed. For those older entries in the archive, it is easy to check out the conversions using my Metric and US Conversion Chart page in the blog categories or by linking here.

I have been most fortunate over my career to work for the American Good Housekeeping Institute and Magazine as well as its UK sister, so my experience at both have prepared me well to make sure I suit all my web visitors. Rest assured I have both US and UK interests at heart!

‘Return to Slender’ Cookery Book

My first bariatric cookery book ‘Return to Slender’ will also suit all American bariatrics and cooks. Each book despatched to the US has a special conversion sheet within so that you can cook the recipes with confidence using American cup measures and weights as well as ingredients. Many of you have already told me how much you like the dishes chosen and love the fact that each and every one is illustrated in colour.

Order from the Home or Cookery Book page or on the link here, but don’t forget to add the ‘Rest of the World’ postage option. Books are sent out promptly by the most efficient route.

Free Bariatric Cookery Newsletter

As part of my commitment to providing you with seasonal, festive and meal occasion advice, I also send out each month a FREE newsletter. By registering on the Home page (top right hand corner) you will receive an email newsletter with recipes, Masterclass cooking tips, the latest news and information relating to weight-loss surgery and the foods to eat post op. Recent newsletters have covered breakfasts, food on the move and Christmas…with many more wonderful themed ideas to come.
